BJ CampbellPresident:  Robert (BJ) Campbell Jr. PE, LEED AP

BJ Campbell is a licensed professional civil engineer in the states of Georgia, Louisiana, and Virginia, with over a decade of regional engineering experience in water and stormwater related disciplines.  As water resources manager for Southern Civil Engineers Inc., he personally engineered or managed the engineering of hundreds of stormwater management projects across the south eastern United States in the last decade, ranging from Louisiana to Florida to North Carolina, with a special focus on the Metro Atlanta region.  He specializes in stormwater management for new development or redevelopment, in assessing and analyzing drainage problems within existing development, in green initiatives such as LEED and stream buffer mitigation, and in analysis and expert testimony for complex stormwater litigation.

He received his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998, his masters degree in Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Water Resource Management from Georgia Tech in 2002, and has worked at several large Atlanta based engineering firms.   In addition to owning and managing Campbell Civil Consulting LLC, BJ is an adjunct professor at Kennesaw State University (formerly Southern Polytechnic State University), teaching Fluid Mechanics, Statics, Hydrology, and Advanced Hydraulic Systems.

Jason Vaughan is a facilities professional with over fourteen years of experience in the field. His prior responsibilities have included management of building operations, maintenance, security, capital budgeting, condition assessment, and selection and management of subcontractors related to the facilities under his control. He has specific experience in the criminal justice sector, the banking sector, and the healthcare sector, but is familiar with a wide range of facilities and territories across the southeastern United States.

He built this experience off of his military background, serving in the US Army and Army Reserve as a combat engineer, physical security NCO, and criminal investigations specialist until 2003. He obtained a military law diploma from the US Army Judge Advocate General's Academy, in Ft. Jackson South Carolina in 1996, completed the US Army NCO Academy in Camp Shelby Missisippi in 1999, and obtained designations from the BOMI International Institute as a Facilities Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT) and Facilities Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) from 2003 to 2006.
